The club championship was held on Saturday July 7. The partners were found by drawing, and five rounds were played. After a round a change of partners irrespective of sex and age. After adding the points, Gerda Nielsen was the winner for women with 63 points and Svend Åge Nielsen for men with 62 points. After a day with nice weather, the prizes were awarded.

The Grundfos Petanque Club championship took place September 9th. The matches were played with shifting partners over four rounds. The champions were those who had accumulated most points during the four rounds, not nessesarily won most games. The champion for women was Inger Sebens after a final throw. The champion for men was Svend Åge Madsen also after a final throw. Second for the women was Gerda Nielsen, and for the men Jan Nielsen. The day ended with awarding the prizes and a dinner.

October 2nd was club championship with 20 participants. The championship was played as doubles and in three parts with many good and equal matches. For the third place, it was a match between Inger Sebens + Henry Nielsen against Gerda Nielsen + Svend Åge Madsen, who won 14-3. The first place was between Løkke Madsen + Bjarne Padkjær against Bente Padkjær + Jørn V. Jensen. Løkke and Bjarne were in front with 7-0 before Benthe and Jørn started. The result was 9-7 in two good rounds and they won the final later with 13-8. It had been a very good day with many good matches.

There was club championship for the Petanque Club Saturday August 30th on the field at the Grundfos centre. starting at 9 with rolls and coffee, then a draw for partners. The matches went on to the end and the result was: number 1 Gerda Nielsen + Svend Åge Madsen, Løkke Madsen + Henry Nielsen was second, and Tove Padkjær + Jens Dalby third.
